Baruc Lara started the foundation as a senior in high school. At the time the foundation was known as The Lara Lopez Foundation. The inspiration came from his family. Baruc created this organization on the values and beliefs which he was raised on, which are: life long learning, purpose, responsibility and opportunity. He believed these were the elements for any child regardless of background to achieve their life long dreams.
